EDUCATION GRANTS
Bungendore Branch Country Women’s Association & Rotary Club of Bungendore – Education Grants
Are you starting high school in 2026 and already making a difference in your community or learning environment?
The Bungendore Branch of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) of NSW and the Rotary Club of Bungendore are inviting Year 6 students in our local area — including those who are home-schooled — to apply for a $250 Education Grant to assist with their transition to high school.
Two of these grants are awarded in memory of two remarkable women, the late Mrs Agnes Seymour and Mrs Barbara Burton – both long-serving members of Bungendore CWA and tireless contributors to the Bungendore community. This initiative continues their legacy of community support and youth encouragement.
The grants are for students who may be experiencing financial need or who show outstanding community spirit — whether that’s helping others, participating in activities, supporting your peers or siblings, or being a positive, reliable presence in your learning and community life. Academic achievement is not a requirement.
We’d love to hear about your goals for high school, what matters to you, and how this grant could help you get there — whether your learning has been in a school setting or at home.
Don’t Forget:
Applications must be endorsed by your home school coordinator/parent or Principal.
Deadline: Monday, 22 September 2025
